Artist Profile: Matthew Cotten

I am Matthew Cotten. My day job for most of my life has been biochemist but I am a cartoonist by heart. Work took me to live in curious places, Nashville, Vienna, Munich, The Gambia, Cambridge England, Rotterdam, Entebbe, and now Phoenix. Drawing was a simple way to keep track of things.
A few years ago in Uganda we rescued a dog, Buddy and brought him with us when we returned to the USA. Buddy has been a wonderful drawing guide, our routine now is: We walk Buddy pauses I draw. The current set of drawings are from places we have visited in beautiful Arizona.
